Setting up QR table ordering
Settings → Modules
Switch on Settings → Modules → QR Code Table Ordering, then go to Tables and tap Print QR Codes.
Print the sheet, cut out the cards and stick one on each table. Each code belongs to one table for good.
Nothing else is needed. The menu the guest sees is the menu you already built, with only the items marked Available for sale.
- 1 Switch on QR Code Table Ordering under Settings → Modules.
- 2 Decide whether Show prices on the QR menu should be on.
- 3 Open Tables and tap Print QR Codes.
- 4 Print, cut and stick the cards on the tables.
- 5 Scan one yourself with your own phone and place a test order.
What the guest sees
They point their phone camera at the code and the menu opens — no app to install.
The menu is headed with their table number and Order from your seat, with a search box, an All tab, a Deals tab and one tab per category.
They tap items, choose sizes, add a note, then tap View Order to see the basket, where they can add instructions, their name and their phone number.
Place Order sends it. The phone number is optional and is only there so they can collect loyalty points.
Where a QR order arrives
It lands as a dine-in order pinned to that table, marked as pending, exactly as if a waiter had punched it.
It appears on the kitchen screen, in the Orders list and in the POS Order Tab, and the table is marked occupied.
Nothing is paid. The bill is settled at the counter like any other table.
Leave the Orders screen or the kitchen display open somewhere visible. A QR order arrives with nobody standing at the counter to announce it.
POS Terminal → Open Tabs
A menu with no prices
Settings → Modules
Show prices on the QR menu is off to start with. With it off, guests see the menu and can order without any prices, totals or amounts anywhere.
The order is still priced normally in the POS and on the receipt — the guest simply is not shown the figures on their phone.
Switch it on if you would rather they see what things cost.
The Chinese and Arabic menus
Settings → Modules
With Chinese menu (English / 中文) or Arabic menu (English / العربية) on, a guest who scans is asked to choose a language before the menu opens. The choice sticks for their visit and the chips in the menu header switch between the languages you offer.
Both can be on at once. The guest is then offered English, 中文 and العربية, and the Arabic menu is laid out right to left.
With Translate the menu automatically on, your categories, dishes, descriptions, sizes and deals are translated for you. A new dish is picked up on its own the first time a guest opens the menu.
Translate the menu now does the whole menu in one go, which is worth running after a batch of changes. Each language has its own button.
Order tickets, the kitchen screen and the POS always keep your own names — including in a restaurant whose own screens run in Arabic.
Telling the kitchen a table has been scanned
Settings → Modules
QR ordering has one blind spot: nobody at the counter knows a party has sat down until they finish browsing and send an order, which can be ten minutes later or never.
Switch Print a kitchen slip when the table QR code is scanned on and the scan itself prints a slip — the table number and the time — on the kitchen printer.
It prints once per party. Reloading the menu, or a second guest at the same table scanning the same code, does not print another; nor does a table that already has an order running, because the kitchen ticket already says it.
Treat a scan as a new sitting after (minutes) decides when the next party at that table counts as new. Thirty minutes to start with.
It needs the Print Agent and a kitchen printer address — the slip is sent by the server, not by the guest's phone. Without them the tab tells you so instead of silently printing nothing.
The online store front
Store Front
Store Front, under Online Store in the sidebar, is your own ordering website. It is admin-only.
Store Front Live is the master switch — with it off the public website returns a 404.
The first block sets the shop identity: Store Name, Tagline, Hero Title, Hero Subtitle, a Hero Image, About Text, Phone, WhatsApp, Email, Address and Opening Hours.
Then the ordering rules: a Minimum Order, a Default Delivery Charge, a Delivery Note, and ticks for Offer Delivery and Offer Pickup.
Live Preview in the sidebar opens the store as a customer sees it.
Publishing the store
Store Front
The publishing panel shows whether your store is LIVE or OFFLINE (draft), when it was last published, and your store address with a Copy button.
Publish Now puts it online. Unpublish takes it down again, and visitors then see a 404.
You can also set a custom domain and have the secure certificate arranged. While that is being set up, visitors see a Coming Soon page rather than an error, and publishing changes are locked until it finishes.
Store Front
Customers can only order delivery to the areas you list. Add City first, then add the areas inside it.
Each area can carry its own delivery charge. Leave the charge blank and the default is used.
An area can be disabled temporarily without being deleted.
With no cities and areas set up, nobody can complete a delivery checkout. Add at least your own city before you publish.
How online customers pay
Store Front
Two methods, each with its own switch. Cash on Delivery means the customer pays the rider, and the cash posts into your accounts when the order is marked delivered.
Bank Transfer / Online Payment shows the customer your Account Details, they transfer and upload a receipt, and you verify it in Online Orders.
Switch off whichever you do not offer.
Store Front
Customers can be emailed automatically at each step: welcome, order placed, confirmed, dispatched, delivered, cancelled and payment verified.
It needs an SMTP account — the Host, Port, Encryption, Username, Password, From Address and From Name of any provider.
Each email can be switched on or off on its own and its Subject and Message edited, with a button to reset one back to the default wording.
Send Test sends one to an address you type, so you can check the settings before a customer does it for you.
Pages and blog
Store Front
Content Pages adds About, Contact, Terms and anything else to your store, each with a title, content, an optional header image and a Show in menu tick. Add common pages creates the usual set in one tap.
Blog is for articles, which help the store show up on search engines. Each post has a title, an excerpt, a cover image and a Published tick, and Add starter posts gives you something to edit rather than a blank page.
Search engine settings
Store Front
The Search Engine Optimisation block fills in the Meta Title, Meta Description, Keywords and Social Share Image, and the technical files are generated from them automatically.
Allow search engines to index the store must be on for the store to appear on Google. Off, the whole site asks search engines to stay away — which is what you want while you are still building it.

Online Orders
Online Orders, under Online Store, is where website orders land, with a badge in the sidebar for new ones.
Cards count New, In Progress, Delivered and Cancelled / Returned, plus Delivered Revenue and Receipts to Verify.
Opening an order lets you confirm it, dispatch it, mark it delivered, verify an uploaded payment receipt, cancel it or mark it returned.
Confirming sends it to the kitchen like any other order.
Online Users
Online Users lists the accounts customers created on your website, with their orders, whether they are linked to a loyalty customer, and when they last logged in.
An account can be suspended and reactivated.
Delivery marketplaces
Settings → Integrations
The Integrations tab in Settings connects delivery marketplaces. Two are built in: Foodpanda and Talabat.
Each takes a Vendor Code from the partner portal. A Webhook API Key is generated for you the moment you switch the integration on, and the page shows the Webhook URL to hand to the platform or your middleware provider.
An incoming order rings the bell in the POS top bar and waits there to be answered — Accept sends it to the kitchen and prints the ticket, Reject asks for a reason and cancels it. Nothing is cooked until somebody accepts it, and completing the order deducts recipe stock like any other.
The platforms cancel an order nobody replies to, so answering matters. Put the partner token from your onboarding contact on the integration card and your Accept and Reject are sent to the platform itself; leave it blank if a middleware provider relays your orders, because then the provider answers for you.
An order the platform has already been paid for is recorded as paid. One it has not collected shows what to collect at the door instead of being counted as money you already have. Either way the platform settles with you separately, so nothing is posted to your cash or bank accounts for these orders.
A platform rider collecting the food keeps the order out of your own delivery queue; an order the platform expects YOU to deliver joins it like any other.
A cancellation sent by the platform cancels the order here too, and any deducted stock is restored. Test orders sent during setup are marked as tests and never reach the kitchen.
The Online Order Notifications card decides which sources ring the bell — Foodpanda, Talabat, your website, in any combination — and how loud the alert sound is, with a Test button to set it against your own kitchen noise.
This chapter describes the software as it is today. Every account gets the same guide inside the product, searchable and printable.
