What you are looking at
This is POS Beast, the restaurant management software by Arriverr — the till, the kitchen screen, the stock room, the accounts and the reports for your restaurant, all in one place.
It runs in a normal web browser. There is nothing to install on the counter PC, and the same address works on a tablet at the table or on a phone in a rider's pocket.
Everything your staff can see and do is decided by the role you give them, so a waiter never sees the day's takings and a cashier never sees your cost prices unless you decide otherwise.
Which version you are running
Settings → What's New
The version number is shown on the Settings page, on the What's New tab.
That tab is the changelog: it lists everything added or improved in each update, newest first, so you can see what changed the last time the software was updated.
How to use this guide
Settings → Restaurant Info
The chapters follow the order a new restaurant actually needs them: sign in, set the software up, build the menu, open the floor, then take orders.
If you are already running, jump straight to the chapter you need — every chapter stands on its own.
Grey chips like the one under this paragraph show you exactly where to click, reading left to right through the menus.
Some features only appear after you switch them on under Settings → Modules. Wherever that is the case, this guide says so and names the exact switch.
The parts of the screen
The dark strip down the left is the sidebar — every screen you are allowed to open is listed there.
It is grouped into Management, Online Store, Inventory & Purchases, HR & Payroll, Finance, Reports and Admin. A group only appears if your role can open something inside it.
The white bar across the top shows the name of the screen you are on, and on the right a green New Order button that takes you straight to the till.
At the bottom of the sidebar is your own name and role, a pencil icon to edit your profile, and the door icon to log out.
Tap the three-line button at the top left to fold the sidebar away when you need more room — on a small screen it starts folded.
